Again, the room went quiet waiting for UH opponent to show up on the screen. You even hear someone blurt out "right now" like they were getting impatient. When UAB name appeared the room wasn't quiet anymore.

No one saying the room should have been cheering or booing but it's clear the people in that had a reaction when UAB name appeared on the TV screen.

There appeared to be no reaction when UAB was announced as the opponent. There has been a much greater reaction on why we are even discussing this topic.

Jeez it wasn't meant to become a bug deal. IAB name called, no reaction from people in the room. Got it!

This is awful viewing but it made me chuckle. I think Blazer85 was calling the play by play....lol.

I used the CapitalOne bracket and it allowed me to pick from about 10 different statistical categories and run a simulation tournament. I chose 3pt percentage offense and steals on my first and only simulation. It showed UAB winning the championship over Memphis. Wow. Memphis did beat Houston twice in the regular season. Interesting.

UAB and Houston had one common opponent this season - Rice. UAB lost at Rice, 85-80, and won at home, 92-68. Houston hosted Rice and won, 79-46.

In 56% of their games, Houston gave up less than 60 points (19-34).

In 26% of their games, Houston gave up less than 50 points (9-34).

In one game they held their opponent to less than 40 points: Houston 79-ECU 36.

SportsCenter putting UAB on blast this morning as potentially upsetting UH.

Houston is 1-4 against the NET top 50 this season and has the worst Quad 1 record of any school in the top 50. UAB is 46.
