Jelly is up to 107k followers in Instagram now after all of the Barstool publicity, I don't think he'll have any trouble securing an NIL soon.

Hoping that the new found celebrity status doesn't mess with his psyche and pressure him to play outside of his game..."Now, I have to live up to all of the hype."

I see your point, and I agree. But if Saturday is any indication, he will be OK.

I think Saturday was maybe Jelly's best game outside of the 42 point game.

Played smart, controlled, highly efficient basketball. He did have 5 turnovers, but that's not unexpected given how much he is asked to do and how much he handles the ball. He scored 27 points on 11 field goal attempts. That is INCREDIBLE efficiency, and he added 6 rebounds, 4 assists, and a steal. He didn't press, or do too much, or kill us with bad shot attempts. Excellent game, although with less fanfare and scoring.

Well on the bright side his high school mixtape highlights/documentary have over hundreds of thousands of views. Yes, Barstool is a whole different type of publicity but this isn't something completely new to him

I agree about Jelly. He didn't force the action, but still made clutch plays when we needed him to - not all of which included scoring. He made a great pass to a wide open KJ Buffen under the basket when he got double teamed at the top of the key late in the game.

Saturday's game was after all the hype he got on Friday. Hopefully his quality play after being hyped up continues.

I worry about too much press, and making the rest of team background singers. There is a fine line to be walked there, as the other players are just as valuable
