RE: how good is Tanner Hall?!!!
Haven't seen him throw but he is obviously a sinker baller with all of the ground outs and lack of flyouts. You would think it would be best to move him to the weekend, but in this conference, the higher RPI games will be during the weekdays going forward. I say keep the rotation right where it is. We only have one more Tues/Wed week the rest of the way. Keep him where he is and once the tourney comes around he will be available for the fourth game which may be the champ game. Set up pretty good. Just got to keep everyone healthy. Back in the day we played every Tues/Wed and they were usually against the same team. Back then it was best v best when we played MSU, OM, LSU etc. We would start our Friday guy on Tuesday and he would then throw the following Sunday etc. against those better teams. And then the next midweek we would play a smaller team and throw other guys to get the Weekend rotation back. Easy coaching when you have starters giving quality starts every game.

I agree ... normally, you would move someone of this caliber to the weekend - not this time...
TBH, I've never understood the relevance of 'weekenders' unless you're battling at the bottom of the conference ...
I honestly think he called on the BP last night due to lack of activity...
this team has a great problem having 4 pitchers that are mostly going deep vs. quality competition...
gotta start thinking about dropping Sargeant in the lineup ... look what it did to Dickerson's BA (takes pressure off in the 9-spot), and shoot some 'error free drug' into Lynch, Sargeant, and Paetow ... the guys that decide hit/error have been very kind to them ... Lynch only had one that should have been ruled as three last night ... right now, that and base running mistakes are our only achilles heel to date...

Yep, he is good! Glad we will see him on the weekends now. IDK why we are starting Boyd tonight vs Bama though. I think we have better options. He just has never been one of our best pitchers and makes me nervous every game. Hopefully he can throw a good game tonight.

oh yeah, has anyone given thought (regardless whether his performance continues) how much of an asset it is keeping him in the midweek start ....
you could plug his arse in as any starter come tourney time ...
I don't get the move this early in the season ... but yes, beating bammers was a good win...
fwiw, take a look at this, and think about who's beaten whom ... what ya doing there, yogi berry??!??
