To the contrary, more people are off work Saturday, so they'll have more time to dedicate to watching the smaller leagues.

Having the time isn't the same as preferring the lesser leagues. There will be a lot more eyeballs on P6 semifinals than there will be on one-bid finals. The latter will all be competing with each other for the crumbs off the P6 table.
