I truly laugh outloud when people post things about WKU going to the AAC. WKU will never be invited to the AAC. MTSU has a decent chance in the future of an AAC invite tho. The SBC will never invite WKU back..that's old news. WKU will either remain in CUSA or possibly accept an invite down the road to the MAC...but the MAC will only invite WKU if there's another school that adds value to go along with WKU...and those are few and far between.

Problem with that argument is, once the P5 or MW take the top AAC teams, the AAC will likely be the third or fourth best G5 (in football). At that point a team like ECU or Tulane could easily look around and say, "the competition is stronger, the rivalries better, and the travel easier, in the SB. Lets go." Why wouldnt they? Remember, it was once hilarious that the SB would ever be better than CUSA and the MAC (again, in football), and yet here we are.

No. We were the last to leave and we didn't leave early either altho others may have left early before us. WKU doesn't fit the culture of the SBC and we have different priorities... i.e. basketball is important to us. There does seem to be some hurt feelings from one or two schools about ever inviting us back but I'm not sure.

Where did you come up with tree hugger ? You guys are alot closer to liberal areas than me lol. I'm about as far from that as you can get.

You deal with some transient population but nothing like us. You also don't have 4 pro teams and the Miami hurricanes in your area. You also don't have nice weather all year round and as much overall to do.

South Florida will always struggle with fans. Even the pro teams do . It's an overused smack talking point on here.
