Please note this is the original list. ESPN will add several other games as we go.

Feels like the first time in a while that GS/App is not a weeknight game.

It was scheduled as a Wed game in 2020 originally though.

Last year was the first time it was originally scheduled as a Sat game since we played in the Socon.

Huh, must be somethin’ wrong with my eyes . . . I ain’t seeing no TXST game on this here schedule. Why the hell wouldn’t they include at least 1 Bobcat game . .

I mean, even if our football team sux, our stadium IS a pleasing sight to the eye.

I was hoping to catch Georgia State v Georgia Southern in Atlanta for Thanksgiving weekend. Perfect opportunity with so many Southern Alumni in Atlanta. Especially with Tech visiting UGA this year. That's unfortunate.

We should play App the Sat before UGA/UF every year and Gast on Thanksgiving weekend.

Growing up, teams here in the southeast always had their traditional rival at midseason and their in state rival on Thanksgiving weekend. That's one of those things about college football that just seemed constant. Also we've played App in Oct more than at any other time, so it feels right for it to be then. In previous scheduling, we were in Atlanta when GT was at UGA so it was laid out perfect to prevent that overlap.

I would much rather see that change happen. But I guess App really wants us on that weekend and it seems like they've created their own empire in the East with them at the hub of it, so whatever.

I thought that the Sun Belt played more Wednesday games. Two for the whole season is a pleasant surprise.

Also, I saw Friday games on the schedule. Where will those be televised? They wouldn't be on Friday if they weren't on linear TV, right?

South Alabama and Troy traditionally play the Friday after Thanksgiving if they are at home to avoid conflicting with the Iron Bowl. Those games fall under the 12 day window, and sometimes do get selected.

Marshall and App State on Nov 12th will be the annual memorial game. I wouldn’t be surprised if that gets picked up.

I am expecting that will. Marshall almost certainly requested that as a Saturday game because of the Memorial, so it couldn't be in the original ESPN TV list. If You guys are both good, it will almost certainly get picked up by the U at worst.

Was kind of hoping to see at least one ODU game on TV considering that was part of why we joined. Maybe more will be added.

All your home games will be on ESPN+ at a minimum, so they'll be a lot easier to watch.

I would suspect the UVA and/or VT game might get picked up on the ACC network.

Friday, September 2
Virginia Tech at Old Dominion

&

Friday, Sept. 9
FIU at Texas State

These early Friday games are what I was referring to. Surely ODU would not put their biggest draw of the year on a Friday if it weren't guaranteed to be nationally televised.

In the ESPN deal, do they ever sell games to, say, CBS Sports for Friday night games?
