OMG

Being a normal Arkansas country boy I caught a young coon. It got loose from me in my dad's truck. I finally grabbed him and stuck him in my mom's straw hat. That coon just stared at me all the way home. It would have cut my throat if it could have. After the fight my hands and arms were covered in blood. My grandfather had two pet coons but this one was to old. I had to let him go. I was about 10 when I caught him. I did have pet squirrels growing up. They were a lot of fun. Life in the sixties was a lot different.

I had a mean ol Whistle Pig. Damn thing nearly bit the tip of my thumb off. Also a ton of wild caught snakes, frogs and birds, but I always let them go after a few days.

I try to be very, very careful about how I post and where. About a year and a half ago, I posted a thread on the MAC board, or maybe it was an existing thread, can't remember. Anyway, I tried to be very respectful, diplomatic, not trash talking in the least. I asked about people's thoughts on the scenario of inviting NDSU for football only, and maybe Marshall, JMU, UMass, or UConn for the other division.

Some responded kindly, criticizing only that it was beating a dead horse. I didn't know that. I'm not a big MAC board reader. But some just flipped out for going to their board and daring to ask a question and suggesting it might bring a jolt of energy for the league.

I'm not touching that C-USA board with a ten foot pole anytime soon. The AAC board, too, I'm reluctant to post on, but they're not as sensitive right no for obvious reasons.

I figure I'll just celebrate over here and maybe poke fun at C-USA here. No point in going out of my way to provoke.

This is why I think that people should just relax and quite posting anything involving realignment, etc on the CUSA board. The 3 should be free to comment on the sports threads relevant to C-USA but the tension has gotten too much discussing football and every thread turns into the same circular arguments from both sides.

I posted heavily on the CUSA boards up until about October of ‘21. Once it was obvious the direction the SB3 were heading I slowly backed off. Anytime I posted my opinions All4One, Deb, Dawgswin1 and Dawgxas would stir up ****. Of course, I played along but I don’t see myself posting there too much in the future.

I just want to say I really love the new SBC and can’t wait to see what the future has in store for all of us. This board is very easy going and everyone, for the most part, does well with banter.
