(if your ESPN ticker only shows one, it’s because Towson and Delaware are finishing up a game from earlier in the season that was postponed due to unsafe floor conditions, Towson is down 9 with 18:42 left in the game), and thanks to WMTribe75 pointing this out, but if Towson wins today, they are the 1 seed, and we would face them if we beat Northeastern.


Anyway, as promised, I’m starting this thread. Hopefully we score more than 28.

Actually I believe that the Towson-Delaware game does indirectly impact us. I think that if Towson wins tonight they get the #1 seed in the tournament, and after we beat Northeastern on Saturday we will play the #1 seed. No offense to our friends down south but I would rather that the Sunday game be against UNCW rather than Towson.

Yes, (and again, no disrespect meant to UNCW), but I would rather the Tribe face UNCW than Towson. The Tigers handled us easily in both games whereas one of the Seahawk games went to overtime (and W&M should have won in regulation if free throws had been made in the last two minutes, if I remember correctly). Probably a moot point anyway because W&M would have to win to get into that game.

It is kind of too bad because otherwise I would root for Towson to make up the 9 points --- just because I am still in "despise Delaware" mode.

W&M will be playing Towson. The Tigers outscored Delaware by 15 points in the first 4 minutes of the replay, turning a 9-point deficit into a 6 point lead. Then they played about even for ten minutes, then Towson pulled away at the end.

EDIT: Of course, I was getting ahead of myself with wishful thinking. The Tribe will be playing Northeastern first....and then (hopefully) playing Towson. The point was that Towson is now the #1 seed and the winner of the play-in game will play them instead of UNCW.

Just a little heads up for those coming to DC for the CAA tournament. The western originating part of the trucker convoy is supposed to reach the DC area by March 5th. Not sure if their agenda has changed with the changing mandate rules, but their original goal was to "shut down the city". Hopefully enough of these people have lost interest and the various roads around the city flow freely.

Or, hopefully they’ve gained interest and block Towson from entering the District.

Besides, nice to see people exercising their First Amendment rights without resulting to violence and destruction.
