I've hated POY and MVP and all such individual awards ever since Bill Russell didn't get NBA rookie of the year when I was in 6th grade.

And yes again, that KSU vs. UCLA game was competitive. It got away. Too many athletes in the powder blue and white.
My recollection was that we were holding our own against Ball and mates until Hall got into foul trouble.

KSU held their own for a majority of the game. Still wish Pippen would have gotten a chance to go up against Leaf. Both were freshman if I recall.

For me, Kenny Lofton for ROY in 92 and Albert Belle for MVP in 95.
