He was the only guy in the CAA who could actually compete with David Robinson. The interview was great in many ways, but the discussion about his competition with Robinson was spot-on. Showing that he could hang with The Admiral nearly made him a first round draft pick.

I sat next to him at a Panthers' game in the late '90s. He was surprised I knew who he was.

With all the ghosts of the past from UNCW basketball coming around, it sure would be nice for Rowsom to make his way back in town for some of these big games. He was out first legit NBA player, plus he was with the Hornets.
