Northeastern faded at home against Charleston tonight. Seems to have been their achilles all year that they only have six solid players in their rotation and are unable to hold up late due to fatigue and/or foul trouble.

Expect fatigue will be an even bigger factor for them with the quick turnaround to our 6:30 pm game Thursday night.

Don't hold any hope of the stars lining up and granting us the tiebreaker in the event we finish locked with Elon. Think our only real chance is to take advantage of a tired, shorthanded Northeastern, then throw everything at the wall against Hofstra on Saturday and hope something sticks, so, we might leapfrog Elon altogether.

Starts with one game, though. Let's hope Quinn, Brandon and Mehkel channel some major senior last gasps to their careers and help lift the team through these two games. Go Tribe!

Need to be aggressive early and force the refs to call fouls. Either they'll let us play or the fouls will start to pile up. Either way it should benefit us with Northeastern's short bench.

If these 3 players can each average 15-18 minutes of playing time IMO our chances improve a lot.

NE is understaffed and playing deeper will run the down plus prepare us for a potential run in the CAA. Mehkel looks great on D against DE and Blair adds some balance on the floor and potential leadership.

Again, just a gentle reminder: the game was originally a 7:00 PM start and is now a 6:30 PM start, with the radio pre-game broadcast, with Jay & Kris, starting at 6:00 PM.

It is not farfetched that we win the tiebreaker. That only requires Hofstra beating Elon and Charleston at home, and UNCW losing on the road to Drexel and Delaware. Probably a coin flip of an outcome.

*Getting* to the tiebreaker is the much harder problem. Sure, Northeastern could hold off Elon, but this team is 1-14 away from Williamsburg and an appreciable underdog. Of course, NE being 1-15 in conference, you've got the stoppable force meeting the movable object.

Delightful: The Tribe broadcast is about 5 seconds ahead of the YV picture and the Huskies broadcast is running 3 seconds behind the broadcast picture. Pick your poison.

Northeastern is terrible and we are playing worse so far.

I figured I might as well listen to Jay.

I finally was able to "sort of" pause Jay's broadcast until the TV caught up.

Too bad nobody in green is playing any defense so far.

Well if we let them blow us out tonight maybe they will be asleep next Saturday in the only game that counts...…..

We have one of the worst “everything” in NCAA MBB.

Pretty telling that NE has only 1 win in conference play yet we look completely over matched. Struggling not to turn the ball over each offensive possession.

Benching Quinn with no explanation seems like a willful decision to try to lose....are we trying to tank for draft picks? I don't get it. Unless this game turns around, this and the Drexel home game make me seriously question Dane's ability.

Ayesa snuck off that carousel by shaving his beard...Fischer thought that he was somebody new.

Not even close to 300, but they get to see a great win by the home team.

This may be our worst effort the entire season.
