CONGRATULATIONS to Tribe Women's Swimming Team for Winning the CAA Championship!!
https://caasports.com/news/2022/2/19/swi...-2017.aspx
The Tribe expanded their lead in Day 4 and won the Championship going away. First CAA title since 2017.
Just try and drop swimming.....take that, Samantha Huge !!!!
Edit: and remember, W&M has no diving team...so we won with just swimming points. Go girls!
2nd Edit: Congratulations also to Nate Kellogg for being named CAA Swimming Coach of the Year (for the second year in a row)!

Great job ladies! Maybe we should drop Men’s swimming instead? After all, they came in a distant last.

Well, remember, Huge tried to cut the Men’s team, too. All they had done prior to that point was win FIVE CAA Championships in a row (2015-2019) and were 8-1 in 2020 before Covid truncated the season. So, yes, non-championships in 2021 and 2022 means that they have taken slightly longer to recover from dodging the axe but, other than Cross Country, no other Tribe sport can touch them for recent sustained success. I’m sure they’ll recover sooner rather than later.
