Off topic a bit. But I find it funny to see commercial for McGurks during Elon games. McGurks is a local restaurant in the Philly suburbs with a few locations. From what I heard, the owner's kid went to Elon and while he was down there was like, "Gee, this is a great place to open up a restaurant".

They are originally from Ft. Washington and have another location in Horsham locally. Their other 3 locations are 2 in Baltimore and one in Elon.

It looks like after today Cam will be 1 point from have 1600 points and Butler are 3 rebounds from 1000.

Sloppy second half but that's another road win for the Dragons, 71-60. Finished 5-4 on the road in CAA play. If only we'd done a better job of defending our home court, we could've been looking at a 10-6 or 11-5 conference record at this point in the season. Hopefully we can take care of business on the final homestand.

Yeah, it was a good win today. Drexel wasn't great in the 4th quarter and I thought that they were giving Elon numerous opportunities to storm back into the game but Elon just couldn't buy a shot for their lives. But even though Drexel wasn't scoring much in the final 8 minutes, they were draining the clock and did what they needed to do to win with a big lead, so I'm totally fine with the outcome.

In terms of the record, the W&M game was the game that stung. The others were losses against good teams. They made up for the Delaware loss by beating them on the road. I haven't been too worried about the record as long as they look to be progressing and getting better and getting ready for tournament time. And they seem to be gelling as team lately and playing better and showing that they can win outside of the DAC, which is important. They're going to have to beat 3 really good teams in 3 days no matter if they finish 3rd, 4th, 5th or 6th.

You used a ton of players, but Okros did not play.

With Charleston's 80-77 loss hosting Towson, you are 2 games above Charleston. From Tuesday to Monday February 28, Charleston plays four road games at the northernmost teams in seven days. Charleston and Northeastern blew 11 point leads in the second half. Hofstra honored former coach Joe Mihalich, and ended on an 11-0 run to win 76-73 hosting Northeastern. Hofstra scored 9 in the last 32 seconds. Delaware won 73-69 at W&M to move 1.5 games above you. There is a good chance you'll face Delaware in the 4-5 game.

I didn't get to watch the whole game so I'm examining the box score a bit further. There are some things that are alarming. Elon took 16 more shots than Drexel. Fortunately their shooting was terrible, or things could have been a lot closer. Another team destroyed Drexel on the boards. Elon won the board margin 45-36, but 18-5 on the o-boards. Now of course that has a lot to do with Elon missing so many shots, but I do find that stat concerning.

Glad Cam is OK and played his usual 34 minutes. He didn't have a Cam Wynter day, only scoring 10, but the other 4 starters shared with double digit scoring.

Nice win, glad we increased our lead after half. I know we let them back late but was nice to come out and paste a team. We have done that both games now. Nice that Cam was ok enough to be back on short notice.
