How long?
This should be a regular thread but with so many SBC loving mods sure it would be moved.

How long do we have to keep hearing from the SB3 about how their move is a move up not a move down? Its been months now and they have only convinced theirselves and a few other folks. Hoping they will either accept their move down or move on.

LOLOL stop. JSU would have loved to get a SBC invite. Not saying the C-USA one is bad b/c you are now FBS but you know good and well that they would have accepted the SBC in a heartbeat.

A. Name more than one SBC loving mod besides the one mod that gave you a warning that you were boo booing about after chest thumping about how much of a badass you were on the UAB board.

B. Link the post to one thread on the CUSA main page that asserts that any of the SBC 3 have stated this.

C. Prove that leaving Conference USA to the Sun Belt is a step down using stats and facts, not feel feels from you and other banned posters.

See ya soon punkin.

Either they're stuck in 2004, they've already been corrupted by Tech and Liberty, or, most likely since they moved up to it (which I'm legit happy for em) and they don't have a clear view of the FBS landscape

I have no problem with being bullish on your own team/conference and with the volatile nature of realignment its difficult to ever really feel fully secure, but to look at the programs in the Sun Belt and call that a step down is pure myopia.

Even if you believe the future is bright in CUSA, we went from 14 to 5 and didn't exactly have the pick of the litter when it comes to backfill. That's no slight on the inbound members, but there's a reason they were still out there for CUSA to take.

Time will tell what CUSA 4.0 will be, but I don't think SBC 3.0 will regret their invites, nor will the invitees regret accepting.

Yeah. I don't imagine MTSU and WKU to stay in C-USA forever either. MTSU obviously would prefer the AAC if Memphis leaves and WKU prefers the MAC or SBC and is just buying time until that works out.

I don't think this version of C-USA is great but it's better than the 5 having to go Indy with 0 money to show for it.

If we have a future in another conference I hope WKU comes along with us. I've been a Blue Raider for twenty years and we've been conference mates in everything but football for all but one of those years and in football as well for about 75% of that time.

Just look at the conference make up.

Yes we would have accepted any FBS offer and luckily it was to the bottom conference. It only got stronger with the SB3 leaving. Wished UAB, UNT and UTSA had stayed but if UAB stayed we would not have been invited.

Now there's a rock solid argument if I've ever seen one...

Again stop. You’re being asinine. Currently the SBC is slightly ahead of C-USA, maybe they’re even, but it’s not a move down. Not even close. Stay salty jsu
