I personally would have loved for For CUSA to have announced the schedule anyway but let’s face it, that would require Judy to have suddenly grown a pair.

...after looking at this thing from CUSA's standpoint, I guess this is the only stance they could take - if they agreed to a 'simple' buyout, then other departing schools may well follow suit (not sure how many, but there is room for a few schools in the AAC now (11 currently)) - thus CUSA trying to hold what they have at least thru the '22 season...

I'm fine with the 'SBC3' leaving early if they desire it (although it really screws up our current schedule, which would be a nice home slate), but with that, I would ULTIMATELY like to see the 'status quo' for this last '22 season... which makes you wonder why the SBC3 are impatient enough to leave CUSA to have to pony up extra $$$$ (wait, don't answer that...03-drunk )
