This year's team overall doesn't intentionally take care of the ball and I hope Seymour doesn't continue some of the bad habits I've seen this year with that. I think he's smart enough to learn the importance of the extra effort to take care of the ball. That particular possession, he just panicked when he didn't really need to. It was not a great pass and you have to make the extra effort to go to the ball, not just reaching out. I like Seymour as well and think he's going to be superb contributor. I could see him being a double-double kind of player.
ETSU had single digit turnovers in that 4 game losing streak of close losses. We have badly timed TO's sure but mostly it was bad shot selection/decisions down the stretch that lost those 4. Not turnovers.

I'm liking the way Seymour is coming on, too. Lots of flashes of high quality, punctuated by some poor decisions. And this is a trivial point, but on that key turnover, altho he should have grabbed it with both hands, he did, more or less, get control of the ball. But then he tried to tap-pass it to Sloan (or was it King?), not realizing Glover was right there. That was lackadaisical. But that wasn't the game. We had already lost it with other multiple blunders.

Yeah, I didn't even bother yelling on the technical free throws. I didn't realize that we'd get the ball back, so I figured it was pointless to try to make him miss. When we got the ball back, I thought we had a chance - a small one, to be sure, but a chance.
