Good to see that the crowd knew it was a record without prompting.

Yeah, that made me happy too.

Incredible game!

Jelly was off the chart good, but Quan was solid again. He had 14 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 steals.

To give up 15 threes and win by 22 is just unthinkable.

KenPom ranking bumped up from 50 to 41 with the win.

What a player. What a team. You see games like this and it makes you really scratch your head about some of our losses. Can’t wait to see what Jelly accomplishes by the end of his time at UAB. It’s easy to get into thinking about his place in UAB lore already but I have a feeling there’s a lot of the story left to be written.

KenPom ranking moved up to 38 overnight. I believe that’s the highest it’s been this season.

We hardly moved in the NET. Up from 45 to 44. So I guess KenPom and the NET have reversed where they had us a few weeks back.

Man, what a game. One of the best in-person games I've seen ... like ever. It's hard to tell from the Twitter video, but the crowd went bonkers when Jelly hit the free throw and took the record.

I hate to think where this team would be without Quan and Ertel. Quan keeps the team moving on both sides of the court. Gordon was beyond solid once he got warmed up. He played some solid defense without getting too deep into foul trouble.

What a day. What a game. What a team. Dang.

A few things I love about Jelly is that not only can he make the plays and be that star player, but also he is not selfish with the ball and will pass to an open player that he knows can make the bucket.

Also, lots of people have been calling him a former Seton Hall player when giving him praise this weekend and he is letting them know he is a true Blazer.

What a great player to have on this team and what great culture AK is creating.

You love to see it!!

Just a hunch, but it seems like he kind of just drifted around in college basketball, had 3 different coaches before us, and finally found a good fit and home with UAB.

I'll be honest, at the beginning of the year, I knew he was a good player. I had no idea he could put up games like this though. His good games in the beginning were like 15-19 points on pretty inefficient shooting and with high TO numbers. Now he's capable of dropping 42 and is shooting high percentages across the board. The last few weeks have been so impressive from him. He's even finishing better at the rim, something he really struggled with initially.

Yeah. for the season he is shooting 43% from 3, which is very VERY good. When you add in the degree of difficulty of those shots, whether they be off the bounce, step backs, contested, or very deep... well, its just elite. It's not like he's standing in the corner waiting for open catch and shoot 3's.

When I say elite, for comparison... Steph Curry is a career 43% three point shooter

BINGO. If he keeps balling out, we win the rest of our games convincingly, we have a shot. The fact the most we've lost by is 6 points helps too.

Bubble doesn’t hurt that we would be a dead heat for #2 in ACC and a clear #2 in AAC
