There was no such thing as a real lockdown in the US. Hawaii was probably the closest, although that had more to do with their ability to much more easily control travel in and out than the rest of the country.
Yes, closing down certain businesses was a dramatic step for a country not used to that kind of an action, but it's not a "lockdown", especially when it exempted a lot of businesses that were frankly nonsensical.
Lockdown would consist of people being forced to stay at their home under threat of prosecution. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that didn't happen in the US. And if there were pockets that did do it, it wasn't for very long and damn sure wasn't that way in most of the country.

The Barber In owosso continued to cut hair. The state fined him, gave him situations, yanked his license, and even had an arraignment. How Ridiculous.
