In my experience, yes. Usually pretty easy.

I was reading that Seahawks fans were trying to get tickets behind the team's bench in section 101 and 102

Wish i could swing it this time, would love to invade the place! The last time i went to Elon though, we had a really good team, they were terrible, and beat us. So, maybe i should stay home!

Nice. Hope a solid, rowdy crowd gets there to help the team's energy. Keep them in it early and often.

All that nonsense is (as far as I can tell) based on ELO, etc ratings. Like last night , when actual people betting actual $$$ had us as narrow favorites, ESPN gave Drexel about a 57% chance of winning too.
Fun to track...but basically worthless metric - particularly this year, I suspect, because so many teams (ours in particular) are literally not the same teams they were early in the year. In our case , only four guys back, lineups and schemes adjusted along the way, etc - our NET and ELO ratings etc just do not reflect the team that's on the floor right now. I'm sure it applies to many, many other teams as well.
What I think is that we should be favorites, but literally any team in the CAA is entirely capable of beating anyone else this year - without needing the sun, moon, and stars to line up in order to do it.
So, onward an upward! Going for 13th in a row in uncharted territory. Proud of Coach. Proud of our team. Proud of our students showing up in big numbers . Great day to be a Seahawk!

One thing for sure about this season, is I'm willing to go out on a limb and say recruiting should get a serious lift from this. Both for HS recruits and players who hit the portal. It's not going to be hard for players when doing research if UNCW gives them a call to look at this season and hear about the excitement in the program. What this team is accomplishing isn't just about their immediate success (although that is obviously a huge piece), but also what they're accomplishing for the future of the program.

Don't underestimate our home crowd in recruiting. Yes, these kids want to win and without winning it's hard to recruit. But add the fact they can now see and hear what Trask is like when it's rocking via social media.Every player from when they are little to playing in HS envisions hitting the big shot, making the three pointer or slapping a shot into the stands with a crowd like that roaring. It's the stuff they've dreamt about and you don't get that everywhere.

Right, but winning leads to the off the charts crowds. They go hand and hand. Don't disagree the crowds are a big deal.

Obviously. But at the midmajor level there aren't many Trask coliseums even when you're winning. If a recruit is comparing schools (look at our competition in the CAA, SoCon, Big South, AE, MAAC, etc.), you won't find a handful of schools that have our environment when we're winning.

Elon worries me a bit. They can get hot at home and cause problems. I don’t think getting behind big would be a good idea in this game. Hopefully they come out focused.
