This story is timely with regard to the discussion we’ve been having because this is exactly the baloney I have been talking about.

If we don’t have any regulation over anything, and no plans to either regulate or even bother to clarify the rules, such that there are any at all, then we don’t really have anything worth preserving. Therefore, I couldn’t possibly care less about minor details like how many teams quality for the playoff of this new, even more brazenly corrupt system.

Again, and I don’t mean this entirely rhetorically, are people really this stupid? Are they really this clueless as to how this movie is going to end?

I guess we’ll find out.
