Terrible And 1 foul call by the ref. No contact, a flop, and 3 point play.

RE: Official Game Thread: @ VMI
ETSU is now 10-11 vs DI competition. The current losing stretch against weaker conference teams is a woeful inflection point on the season. I worry the team will continue to lose interest. It’s still Oliver’s role, fair or not, to manage the rest of the season. Asheville isn’t sounding fun right now.

Stevens 17 points, 14 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 blocks.
He gets my vote for MVP in the SoCon.

It is like watching the same game over and over.
Play well enough to win, do the right things. Fall apart and Say screw it
towards the end.
People talk about teams knowing how to win,
This team knows how to lose and by golly, they
stick to the script. they might change the lead to keep
it interesting but learn from your mistakes?
I could train a blind deaf puppy how to sit and shake hands faster
then this team trying to learn to not F@cK up.

I want to see the minutes played.
I remember Charles got in a couple of minutes in the first half, did he play in the second?
Weber didn't play much either.
Nunez got way too much time (anything greater >0 was way too much)
I am not sure how Weber or Charles could have played worse other then
scoring for VMI.
Nunez was either looking around trying to figure out where he was supposed to
be where his man was or clogging up the middle setting screens for VMI players
to drive for layups.
I would rather have had George the walkon in there, at least he isn't supposed to
be good.
Yeah, I really don't understand Oliver's rotation this game. The best big man in the league let's put this raw freshman with NO playing time in there, what could go wrong?
Oliver Is praising him on the postgame. Now I am questioning his coaching, yeah the kid
showed energy, I want skill, basketball knowledge. He brushed off it off with "well he did overrun his man and they
kicked it for some threes.". Yeah coach that is kind of important.

Just sheer speculation..........
If you've thrown some players under the bus.........then you need to pull some out from the back of the bus to take their place. Meaning..........what he's been doing hasn't been working, so you try something else from your limited options.
Maybe he's starting to give Weber and Charles some notice that they may not be be part of his future plans.
I did love what he said about the Morristown kid. Sounded too good to be true, actually.

I was thinking during the UNCG game to give Nunez a chance. To me didn't make much sense to not play him against uncg but play him against vmi.

RE: Official Game Thread: @ VMI
Did Weber pee in Coach's Wheaties? Why else would Nunez get to play more than Weber against the player Coach called his pick for SoCon player of the year? Listened to the radio coverage, didn't see the stream. They did mention Nunez setting a couple good screens so at least he contributed that way. But he was also mentioned about missing a couple defensive assignments. He may turn out to be a good player, but he's not ready for double digit minutes at the moment.
It sounded like Ty did a ton of dirty work on defense and rebounding today. That's a positive. Sounds like LA picked up his defensive intensity as well - another positive. And Yasser is contributing and deserving the extra minutes he's getting.
A big negative is getting very little contribution from Seymour or Weber. Very disappointing.

I watch a lot of high school basketball. The kid from morristown is at least 2 years away. He does not like to play inside.
