We missed a lot of chances around the rim throughout the game. James Lewis couldn’t finish anything around the rim.

What kind of weather in Texas could create a danger for an indoor event in February?
Just the *thought* of ice can close schools in this state

Good game. I get the feeling we will see each other again later this month.

Week 13 (Week 6 in conference) Belt basketball (Mon Jan 31- Sun Feb 6)
Good game Bobcats. Big come back fell just a little short. Can’t believe Forrest missed those 3 free throws.

Norchad Omier puts up 23 points and 25 rebounds against ULM today
Problem is, no one else on the team did a darn thing and we took a BAD home loss 60-59, thus signyfying what this 2 year stretch with the best player in school history will go down as...nothing of note because our coaching staff stinks and we have no one else to help them

App State is still in first place after that brutal Arkansas State loss.
App was down as much as 15 and came all the way back. ULM was down by double digits and completed the comeback.

For now, but you guys have played 2 more conference games then we have but we still have same number of conference losses. We also have 1 win over App with 1 more game to play too.

Its a long way to the finish. The top spot will be determined by winning percentage since we won't all play the same number of games.

Two plays of players not thinking really cost y'all the game. Forgive me if I don't get the names. But the player who dunked and then got the tech for taunting. Gave us free throws, got him his 3rd foul and I believe gave Ark St their 6th team foul. He picked up his 4th foul not long after that and limited his play. Then, after the scrum on the floor for a loose ball, you player coming in and shoving Howell, who had done nothing. Got the tech but more importantly, didn't change the possession arrow. We would have gotten the ball but with that tech, we got the ball and kept the possession arrow. Made a huge difference because we kept the ball late on a tie up, inbounded and went ahead.
All that being said, Omier is a friggin' beast.

Pointing at two plays that lose a game for you usually will not work. In this case you are right two really boneheaded unnecessary exchanges at the latter part of the game turned it. ULM came back and was close enough to take advantage. Good job. Hopefully that is another nail in the coffin to get a coaching change. Unfortunately we are talking about state admins. so who knows. 5 years of this is way to many. Oh and Omier is perhaps the best BB player ever at stAte and that talent is being wasted.

No way we should have won that game. Short handed without our only PG. When y'all came out the second half hot I figured that was it. Just a cold streak to allow us back into the game.
Do you think Balado is gone? I know he has had multiple incidents with opposing players and fans. I get fiery coaches. I get coaches riding officials. But man, some of the things I have seen and read about is amazing.

I was watching the score and honestly thought we were about to get blown out a few minutes into the 2nd. Good thing I didn't turn the game on or we would have.

Long time stAte fans don't trust our AD or administration to do the right thing and get rid of him. And there's a cadre of fans who like rubbing elbows with whomever the coach is that will want him to stay band "be their friend". Based on his body of work this should not be a difficult decision but Jonesboro is a funny place.

Lots of similarities between Jonesboro and Monroe. We have a new Prez that we have some faith in but it's been over a year now and we still have the same AD that's in over his head.
