For alot of the same reasons people refer to Commissioner MacLeod as simply "Judy" but don't address the male league commissioners out there by a first name only basis.
Male or female, I don't care. That conference office have really done no favors to the teams in Conference USA 2.0 or 3.0

And if it happened to your program, you best believe your fans would make a stink about it.
Also aligning the best P5 bowl opportunities in the west, giving the eastern team pitiful Bowl opportunities isn't favoring the Texas schools?
Making Frisco the home base of the basketball tournament the last few years isn't favoring the Texas schools?
I mean come on man, that's just a few examples.
If Conference USA really wanted to maintain neutrality, they should have moved the headquarters to Nashville all along. That is a much, much more natural geographic fit, but they made no intentions on trying to be neutral.
I said other than that. There is no denying you gut butt hurt over it. Didn’t you? If you haven’t let it go then it is still in your craw. That is what Butt hurt means

You're a fan of La Tech right? I can't remember. Look, if you were gaining top 25 votes in either the AP or coaches poll, and then the conference literally recreated their own math to make sure that an Eastern team got to host over you, you would never forget that, I mean never. So let's not act all high and mighty about this.

I will be the first to admit that she just doesn’t have a charismatic personality. But there is no denying that people have hated her from the moment she told the job and have had a problem with her being female.

That "Marshall thing" certainly didn't do the current Conference USA administration any favors at Marshall.

Look I don’t know why that happened the way it did and maybe you feel legit to feel screwed over but many of our basketball championships were in Birmingham. For many years in a row.

I was trying to emphasize my point, it's pretty unheard of and why it was so memorable.

And Memphis... and Tulsa... and El Paso... and Birmingham (except for one year when crowds didnt materalize)... wherever the tournament was usually successful in selling tickets to fans. In 2012, we played in a C-USA basketball tournament championship game in front of 15,000 fans on CBS network broadcast TV in the Forum. In 2018, we played a C-USA basketball tournament championship game in front of about 500 people on CBS Sports Net on a football practice field... in an area where alot of C-USA don't live or travel to in numbers. Play where you can sell tickets and get crowds, create an atmosphere and an image... it never made sense given what was C-USA 3.0's setup.

You sure? I remember people being pretty happy that Banowsky was gone. I don't remember anyone at all saying things negative about her until a couple of years into her role. But, I wasn't paying too much attention maybe I missed it.

BYU does not teach creationism. Don't try to drag other schools into your own school's wackadoodle beliefs.

Bull f***ing s***!! I know for a fact that they do. They have an entire Institute of Religion that teaches classes on the Latter-Day Saint faith of which all students must take classes from. And, yes, the premortal existence and The Creation are some of them. So STFU!!!

Wow. That struck a nerve.
Teaching creationism or intelligent design or whatever you want to call it in a religion class is cool. Teaching it as science is the problem.

Everyone should be happy now. The Texas schools joined another Texas centric conference and the east schools joined a conference with only one Texas school.

I have not attended class at LU nor did I say I did. I also did not comment on what or how they teach. You seem to know a lot about the curriculum of Liberty.

You’re right. We’ve called them Slive and Banowsky. I reckon we can call her MacLeod. Just easier to call her Judy.

Microevolution exists. Kinds have proven to evolve over time.
It's the theory of Macroevolution, chaos creating order, in which one subset evolved into another (dinosaurs to birds, man out of primate as examples) I cannot get down with. So macroevolution is just that, a theory. One that the fossil record has had a difficult time proving. And is still being debated to this day.
I love science. I love reading about the universe. Yet I can chew gum and walk at the same time.
What science does very well is ask good questions. However, there is more to a good education than simply science. It should be weighed as much as your experiences in the arts, humanities, theology, philosophy....science does a good job digging in and attempting to find the "how" answers. Theology does a good job addressing the "why" ones.
What we have are two camps that need to respect each other's place in education.
