I agree with most of this. I'd still place all three (UAB, UNT, & LA Tech) at #1. I just think any one of those could knock off the other on any given night.

I think this is probably the best top C-USA basketball has had since 3.0 started in 2013.

I dont think so. A few years ago when MT Western, ODU, UAB and Marshall were all good was probably better. That group had more P5 wins and the RPI's were in the 20s for MT and Western with the others not far behind.

Yeah, no way this year is better than the 2018 year.

We had four top teams that year, and I don't think any of these three teams would beat any of those four teams in a winner take all, that was probably the best CUSA 3.0 year, no question.

That year was definitely a good year. North Texas did so-so in league play that season and then went and won the CBI Tournament.

That CBI win really catapulted you as a program, North Texas has been on a tear ever since.

RE: Week 10 CUSA Basketball Power Rankings
As we head into Saturday night games, look at this fun fact. This just shows how much turnover there has been in the middle. There have been SEVEN teams to lay claim to the number four spot in 10 weeks of power rankings.

The number four spot is officially the spinal tap drummer of power ranking spots.

Week 1 Middle
Week 2 La Tech
Week 3 FIU
Week 4 Western
Week 5 North Texas
Week 6 North Texas
Week 7 Western
Week 8 Charlotte
Week 9 Rice
Week 10 Charlotte

Week 10 CUSA Basketball Power Rankings
That’s like Ryan McGee’s bottom ten honorary #5 team.

Which I nominate Rice for, after losing a game of “clt says” at home this afternoon.

For the record, It was my opinion that UNT was one of the top teams in C-USA in the earliest weeks of the season. I never thought North Texas was a middle of the pack team this season.
