2021-22 NET rankings-current vs future conf affiliations - Women's bball
Did the same exercise for women's bball as I did for men's bball. The new AAC is again taking the biggest hit, the new CUSA and SBC didn't have as much movement and the SBC is ranked last among this set of comp conferences (same ones I've used on the men's side).

RE: 2021-22 NET rankings-current vs future conf affiliations - Women's bball
I am ready for Tech to make a coaching change at Women's basketball. Brooke comes from a great Techster tradition and has maintained a clean program. However competitively, this is sad how far the Lady Techsters have fallen. I don't expect us to be national championship contenders like in the 80s and 90s again with how the game has changed in women's basketball but I do think competing at the top of the conference should be expected from our program. I hate to see us let go of another former Techster player as coach (T-spoon being the first), but it's time and we should consider looking outside of Techster history for the next coach.

Brooke is not your problem. However the peckerhead that is hitched to her bumper could tear up a anvil with. Rubber mallet. Good luck figuring out how to get rid of him without her.

The Lady Techsters are currently in 1st place in the West division. Brooke and her coaches have done an outstanding job this year with a very young team. The future is bright for the Techsters.

I’m looking to see if the sky is rolling back with us agreeing. The P5 crap hit womens ball before any other sport. The bias is really bad. I do think had the ncaa not been cancelled 2 years ago cusa would have gotten rice and odu in. Brooke is one of the sweetest people in the business. And can knock the fatal urine out a golf ball.

Your sayings game is top notch today.

As for Brooke, this season seems to be turning around and it has changed a lot since I made my first post in this thread. I love everything about Brooke as out head coach with the one exception being her record. This upswing gives me hope but I'm still a bit skeptical. I am definitely willing to see how next year plays out to really make a verdict.

You may have noticed that Sam Houston has jumped up 50 spots from the first post to the second.

Sam Houston's head women's basketball coach was on leave for a large chunk of season. In fact, team started what I believe was 0-6 in conference play without her and then reeled off seven straight (and 8 of 9) victories.

She's done a great job for herself and I hope she's worked through whatever ailed her.

Sam Houston is batting .500 (14-14) at this point. Sam Houston had only 5 winning seasons in first 30 years of WBB at the Division I level. Current head coach is trying to get it to four straight winning seasons.

Nice woman; great personality.

She was given a bit more rope because of her SHSU connections. Had a few year run on the back of a particular player. Last two years were downright miserable in a crappy Southland. 7-48. Ick! Last four included 3 years of 6 or fewer wins (again in the SLC).

New coach turned things around quick. 64-46 and again, that includes a subpar start to this year because of her 'leave' from the team which took off upon her return.
