Kansas squeaks one out vs Kansas State 78-75 in Manhattan. No easy outs in this league.

TCU beat #15 Iowa State in Ames. Memphis transfer Damion Baugh had I think 7 steals, most of which he took straight to the house. Crazy.

That should cement TCU’s tourney hopes

The road team won 3 out of 5 games yesterday. There’s a lot of competition in this league and you have to bring it every time out.

Did UH win? I saw they were ranked pretty high but didn't catch the score or opponent.

How has UC been this year? For some reason I have always perceived them to be a basketball powerhouse.

BraveKnight- Just wanted to mention that TCU and UCF have a connection from the NIT in NYC a few years back when y'all had Tacko Fall and TCU had Kenrich Williams, perhaps you recall. I happened to be in NYC and went to that game at the Garden. I sat in the first row under the hoop and wowzie woozers was that dude humongous. Y'all had a pretty strong crowd, good times.

When ARob hits Kenny Hustle for the alley-oop over Tacko in :44 I'm the guy in the grey jeans and dark sweater standing up covering my mouth in amazement.

Yes I definitely remember that game, we had a pretty good team that year, had a few big upsets in the NIT to get to that point, but you guys just blasted us in the second half. That season built the foundation for our 2018 team that took #1 Duke to the wire and almost made the sweet 16.

Great game. Kansas is living right right now. That's three straight wins and four of their last five by three points or fewer.

Baylor with a game against Kansas State tonight, a win likely propels the wildcats into the tourney. A loss for Baylor coupe potentially eliminate them from getting a 1 seed.

TCU got demolished by Texas last night. It seems like in the last 5 or so years TCU has been in a pattern of getting good enough to get the fanbase and especially the students amp'd up and then lay an egg. Last night TCU was standing room only with 8,412 in attendance with 3,594 of those being students (that means ~35% of TCUs student body showed up).

Hopefully they come back for the TCU vs. LSU game on Saturday because the SEC vs. Big 12 challenge will be very important for the Big 12 overall in maximizing NCAA bids, last opportunity for wins without cannibalizing our own.

LSU is going to mud hole the Frogs at home. We don't seem to know how to do home court advantage correctly and I currently feel better about the chances of winning on the road. Last night UT played like their preseason #5 ranking though. Brutal.

Yeah we will see, LSU has lost three in a row and play A&M tonight. TCU beat the Aggies so I guess we will see how that game goes (not that transitive properties hold up terribly well).

But I do agree, that home court advantage and TCU basketball don't really tie together.

I never thought we'd be a NCAA team this year, so ultimately if we can stay on the bubble and either sneak in or be a high seed in the NIT I will be happy. I know some Frog fans are getting down on Dixon, but I don't necessarily see us being able to hire somebody better without it being a flyer on someone with little track record.

Unfortunately the Big 12 has been so incredibly tough, and the true round robin is a meat grinder.

Well I'm already wrong. Good win for TCU and good start for the Big 12.

That was a nice bounce back from that dreadful effort against Texas.

That game was awesome. At one point Chuck O'Bannon hit 3 3's in a row in three straight possessions. Ice Cold.

Great SEC/Big 12 challenge this season!

There were some amazing games today. I hope we continue to play this. The Big 12 is always a top conference and now that the SEC is finally starting to pull it's weight in that sport, I could see a lot more competitive games in the future.
