RE: Beyond 2023: AAC & MWC form the Middle Class. CUSA/MAC/Belt fall much lower.
I'm constantly surprised at people who follow attendanceball more than they follow football.

It's a good gauge of how well your school is reaching it's alumni and local community. If no one is coming to your games, that means something needs fixed. What needs fixed can be anything, losing, marketing, prices, game day atmosphere, etc.
If attendance is bad it usually means your Athletic Director needs to make some decisions. Attendance is a money maker also with tickets, parking and concessions. It's also a boost to your local economy with lodging, shopping and restaurants.
Attendance is a big deal, especially for smaller schools.

I don't find it an interesting NCAA sporting event.
Very much not interested in the attendanceball standings.
I do not care if WMU had a full stadium in their game with CMU or that they may have brought more fans to a game with EMU the week before. I don't care if UTSA had a better average in a given year than UTEP. It's mostly fake accounting, it's largely circumstantial (weather/big home gate against a rival or P5 team), and even for the "how's the support" gauge it's got to be graded on a curve (as seen in the weird attendanceball argument about the size of El Paso and Huntington).
Different strokes, but I prefer football.

Sounds like you need to get a mouse with a scroll wheel on it.

As I said, different strokes.
Be into what you're into. Some of us like track or basketball or football. Others like golf and tennis and bowling and attendanceball. Whatever floats your boat.

P6.
is not real.
i'm hopeful that the AAC keeps up with the "P6" banner once UH, Cincy and UCF leave.
The SBC has a lot of games against the new look AAC, if we can keep up with our part people will realize they replaced Pappy van winkle with Aristocrat bourbon, and the whole thing will come crashing down.
Rep points given for your use of "Pappy Van Winkle."
Pappy is on my bucket list. Anyone actually tried a dram?

Yes, Jeff Ruby’s steakhouse-Louisville circa 2014. I still remember the baleful look the ISA rep (who was paying) gave me when I ordered it :)
I will say that I’m no bourbon connoisseur, I ordered it and liked it and you could tell it was good, but I liked it about as much as I like my Eagle rare or woodford reserve master that my wife got me awhile ago. It’s not something I’d wait years or pay thousands for, but again I’m not big on the bourbon
