Vintage logos
Post your favorite vintage logo of your school, and a timeline of when the logo was used if possible.

This didn't do what I wanted it to do, but I like the 1989-1992 attack eagle logo.

RE: Vintage logos
I used to have a bunch of some our vintage ones, but can’t find them right now. But this was always a favorite of mine, clean and simple:

That's the logo I think of when someone says Southern Miss

The attack Eagle, Angry Eagle, and buff dunking Eagle (for basketball) are my favorites

The stately Gothic Lion is my favorite Old Dominion logo of all time. We used it from 1988-1997. It mystifies me that it is not on all manner of throwback gear.

That 95-01 logo is so clean! Glad to see it used in football's throwback uni combo.

I love y'alls 80s lowercase odu. That's a fun throwback reminds me of the old Portland Trailblazers logo

Not official logos but it is worth noting JMU came out with the unofficial graphic of the mascot within the VA outline. Then ODU copied us (but to their credit they remembered the eastern shore).

JMU just finished up their 50th season of football. They did helmet logos throwback throughout the season.

Excuse me bud????? This is some revisionist history right here. Y'all copied US. ODU introduced that logo and wore it on our helmets in 2013, JMU wore it in 2018.

As a Virginian, I'm really enjoying the additions of JMU and ODU. I enjoy the back and forth between the two fanbases. As an App grad living in Virginia, I also appreciate the addition of two teams from the Commonwealth lending more press coverage up here for the Belt.

Sorry bud but "Came out with the unofficial graphic" =/= "wore it on helmets." You stole the logo and threw it on a helmet. It's well established that you all copied us. YOU WERE EVEN ACTIVE ON THE THREAD FROM 2013!

From a football perspective, unfortunately for us they had Heinicke.
From a banter/wits perspective, it's a little like beating up your younger brother, its gets old after a while.
