This one feels good. The team showed some grit. Playing great D was the difference. Now come home and take car of business and get to 3-1!

Nice that they pulled it out. I saw the last 12 mins of the game. Thornton was offensive MVP.

Pantone nailed it.

NIU played good enough defense and Kent State couldn't convert from behind the arc. That was basically the difference.

Now I am interested in going to see a game at the Convo

In all reality though, he needed depth at center and I can't say Osten is all that much worse than Makuoi. I prefer to play Okanu as much as possible but he's only 6'7" which puts him at a disadvantage. So, you need some depth there even if it isn't any good.

Lookin at the most recent box score Osten scored 5 points in 7 minutes. That easily makes him the highest scorer per minutes played. He certainly hasn't impressed but he hasn't played enough to make a fair assessment.
Makuoi clearly can't shoot or rebound.
