Congratulations Georgia, Kirby Smart, and Dawg Fans everywhere! As Munson would have said, "There'll be property destroyed all over the Georgia Coast tonight!" And I would think all over the state.

RE: Dawgs #1 National Champions!
Of course I am elated being a GA grad school alumnus.

I have an old friend who lives in Florida who phones rather frequently and texts often, including before and during the Championship game. He is loud and obsessed with Alabama. He stopped texting after the end of the third quarter. Good, it was getting very annoying. He's from an old Alabama family and is a fanatic about the Crimson Tide winning. He knows the details for many years.
He detests Auburn passionately, and cheers for anyone who plays against those Tigers. I find that rather irrational and extreme. For me, most of it goes in one ear and out the other regarding his views on one dang rivalry.
Diehard Alabama fans must take losing a game, particularly a national championship game, very hard.
It is good for the SEC to have multiple, serious competitors for top honors.
It was an exciting 2021-22 season for the SEC.

Celebrate Dawgs! You earned it.
Athens, Georgia is a fantastic place.

I used to think that a lot of Alabama fans are fair weather, but there are quite a few who are not, and are quite respectable and nice individuals There are indeed those that drive you to insanity though.

That said, last night was awesome!!! Gooooo Dawgs!! Sic'em!!!

Georgia played a great game.

I honestly didn't expect a defensive battle, but that's what it was.

It's also good for the SEC that yet another squad has ascended to that level.

Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Florida, and LSU have all won titles in recent years. Tennessee is the last contender that hasn't won one recently...1998 for them even though that's really not that long ago.
