It was a good, physical game by both teams.

There were some no-calls that frustrated some Troy players at the end of the 1st Half.

I was at the game. Trust me there were some ‘no-calls’ not called that frustrated a lot of UL players and fans, lol.

The thing at 1/2 happened when Wesley got thrown down right at the buzzer. Lots of smack from Troy directed at the team and at Marlin, but surprisingly he didn’t take the bait. One Troy player had to be ‘held back.’ It happened far from me so not sure what happened, but they did a good review of it all and in the end called double T’s.

Overall a good game, very low-scoring, and it had a great ending. Nice to see the Cajuns pull it together at the end, unlike Thursday.

If the refs would have whistled all of the no-calls, we would still be playing. Those guys were whistle happy at times. Except of that egregious no-call on Troy to end the half. Guy gets grabbed and thrown down and they call double techs? Ridiculous.

I agree. It was already such a defensive and low scoring game that a lot more calls would have just slowed it down. No, I only posted what I did in response to the Troy fan complaining about the lack of calls and wanted him to know there were an equal amount of them on both sides.

Like I had said, I really didn’t get a good look at what happened at end of the half. You say he threw him down?

The Cajun player wasn't "thrown down."

Troy had a player driving for a layup in the last second of the 1st half, and was quite obviously fouled on the attempt. That's what led to further frustration from Troy players.

Cajuns got the rebound... a Troy player stuck his arm in to try and take the ball away, and pulled away hard out of frustration, resulting in the Cajun player twisting and falling to the ground hard. It was intentional, no doubt. But saying the Cajun player was thrown down is a farce.

Have to say I was surprised it wasn't called a flagrant.

I am talking about the play at the end of the half. Wesley was advancing the ball and tried to take a 3/4 shot as time expired. He got taken down and their was no call. The double techs were a cop out call for something that should have been a call on the floor.
