Getting back to Plumee, if he's all that and a bag of chips, why did Plumlee lose his starting job?

He lost his starting job to Matt Corral, who is likely going to be a top 10 NFL draft pick.

A few years back, Ole Miss had Chad Kelly - self proclaim best QB in college football and a sure 1st rounder by the talk heads -- he was last round pick and cut by Denver. But good luck on anointing Plumee as your program savior.

Who is anointing him?

He will just be another option for Gus to use for the next 2 years. Heck, more UCF Fans are probably excited long-term about GA HS QB Tommy Castellanos, who is an early enrollee who..he threw for 7,700 yds, 66 TD passes and rushed for another 3,700 yds and 69 TD runs in his HS career.

We were 9-4 with a not good QB who couldn't run. That's why we're optimistic.

UCF always has the talent to compete. The 0-12 year was a fluke

Both of them! 03-banghead

Uh... Caleb Williams is in the transfer portal. Pretty sure he doesn’t have to prove anything.

UCF also just picked up a starting OL player from Virginia and Auburn’s leading WR for 2021. Transfer portal started a bit shaky this off-season, but Gus is well on his way to finishing strong.
