NIU seemed to use the late signing period to add lots of players from the south. We lost two RBs, a starting LB, and some other backup players to transfer portal or attrition.

It’s funny the first 20 times it’s said… but now you just come off pathetic and sad.

Toledo adds 4 star recruit Gant, a transfer from Ohio State. He has 2 years of eligibility.

As long as NIU keeps beating the Rockets they get to make the joke. The irony is that most of UTs best players in recent years have been guys from the lower rated part of the class. Of 11 Rockets in the NFL only one, Hunt, was a highly rated recruit. 2 were walk ons, 1 only had a UT offer. Future Pro bowl WR D Johnson was a late add to his class after a more highly regarded wr bailed. The other guys were average Mac level recruits.

While I'd like some Rockets titles, least they don't have to post the 0-6 winless season banner.

Lighten up Francis, Im just having some fun. I will admit that Rocket fans are good sports and tolerant and don't deserve half the abuse they get.

Let's be honest, we are all in the same boat, we are fanatics for Rust Belt Universities that no other conferences wants us. We have to endure God-forsaken weather to watch a football game on a Tuesday night.
Hell, we can't even attract 3 stars recruits..well... Except Toledo because they have the #1 Recruiting Class in the nation.

UB announced their recruiting class yesterday & are billing it as their highest-ranked recruiting class in program history - the list includes transfers from 5 power 5 programs.

They also pretend to have more MAC football championships over Miami when it turns out they are just counting divisional champs as conference champs. typical Toledo crap.

Congrats! Don't mean to deflect from your achievement, but to address the people that want to get rid of the divisions because they say the imbalance of good teams between the East and West is unfair. Miami and Buffalo had great recruiting classes, how do you know if the balance of power won't switch to the East in 2 years? Chances are good.

Just because the balance is skewed for a couple of seasons does not mean it will be like that forever.
