COVID Cancellation Updates
The Mid American Conference has had to juggle the schedule again as Akron is now again in COVID protocol and has to cancel their Saturday road game at Miami. With Miami now having an open date Saturday, the MAC has scheduled them to play at BG which is the game originally scheduled for last Saturday but was postponed due to Miami being in COVID protocol. BG has an open date Saturday because of the MAC moving up their game against Buffalo from this Saturday to last night because of COVID issues with other teams. I am sure this juggling act will become a common occurrence throughout the MAC season as COVID continues to rear its ugly head. While I completely understand each team taking whatever is necessary to stay safe and healthy, hopefully we will be able to get as many games completed as possible to make sure we have a level playing field when tournament time comes around in March!
