You know, I'm really getting tired of hearing you say this. Setting aside the fact that you're one of the first to blast people in the media who talk about our attendance, yet come here and do the same, you're the poster child for preaching to the choir. I mean, the people who are on this forum (at least the ones in the Birmingham area) are the ones going to the games. It is pretty basic logic- if you're interested enough to be here, you're likely interested enough to be going to games. But it isn't like the casual fans or random citizens in B'ham are going to be perusing blazertalk, stumble upon attallablaze ranting about attendance at Bartow, and decide they need to do their part to show up. We get it- attendance isn't great. We've been there and seen it. Give it a rest.

FYI...

There is no way we are averaging 2,900 actual fans in the building. I have been to every game but one, and I don't know if we've even had 2,900 real peoples at any one game all year--and there have been more than a few where the number was closer to 1,000. It's not hard to physically count the humans in the arena.

It may be a universal problem (though I haven't noticed it down the road at Auburn). But this should be a time when we are turning the corner and making up some lost ground from the Ehsan years, and we are still playing in a near empty building.

Most everyone reports tickets sold.

Not for me. CBSSN is in my basic YouTube TV package.

I stumbled upon Stadium. I have Roku smart TVs and saw they have a streaming package that is free. Crappy channels but one of them is Stadium.

I also have YouTubeTV so I get CBSSN when they are not arguing about money.

I am definitely looking forward to the AAC’s media deal. I am hoping more of our games are televised. Away games in particular.

Everything is great. Nothing to see. Let's keep doing what we are doing to get people to games.

Being the #1 team in the country will have an impact on attendance.

Auburn was selling out their games before that #1 ranking. Matter of fact, attendance at Auburn has been great since Pearl's arrival.

RE: ...UAB to jump to the AAC in 2022?
...sorry for the 'gear shifter' here, but perhaps a bit of good (or at least interesting) news regarding the CFP committee:

Navy AD named to CFP Committee

...with that, the first 'non-P5' AD has been placed on the CFP committee, and that is from the AAC.

SO...either the CFP is FINALLY throwing the 'non-P5' a bone, OR they are considering the AAC as at LEAST a 'quazi-P5'... OR, as some like to say...

Fair point. As I sit here married to an Auburn grad and have to suffer through this... I try, unsuccessfully, to smile and act like I don't hate seeing Pearl and Auburn win. I am literally sitting here typing this while silently rooting for Mizzou while she's doing her WDE sh!t. At least those guys down I-20/59 lost to UGA tonight.
