Pretty surprised at the attendance figures today

Toledo at Kent. 701 2019 avg 2749
Buffalo at Akron 1510. 2019 avg 2610
Ohio at WMU 1353 2019 avg 2086
BG at Ball St 3488 2019 avg 4117

Makes me wonder why games were scheduled today. Seems like New Year’s Day a little too much to compete against.

We still have to try to get as many games in before March as possible. We can't really afford to take games off. I expect attendance to be down all throughout the country this year. Maybe not in places like Duke or Kentucky, but everywhere that's not a blue blood.

Holiday, bowl games on tv, no students on campus and most importantly the Wuhan Flu is running rampant.

I can't believe there are 1300 poor saps who wasted their new years day watching this WMU team.

Yep, and on the plus side, we usually appreciate the fact that 4000+ fans show up for our men’s games and 3000+ for the Lady Rockets ...

You have to give the UT faithful credit. Even though the UT men have not been to the NCAA tournament since 1980, the UT fans have not lost faith. Go Rockets. One season in the future, your day will come again.

fair assessment, technically I'm the first Rocketinchitown but I got a new computer and my password was linked to an old email.

I am an attendance figure nerd, so I guess I was a bit annoying right out of the bat with my new name. LOL
