MAC MMB attendance today
Pretty surprised at the attendance figures today

Toledo at Kent. 701 2019 avg 2749
Buffalo at Akron 1510. 2019 avg 2610
Ohio at WMU 1353 2019 avg 2086
BG at Ball St 3488 2019 avg 4117

Makes me wonder why games were scheduled today. Seems like New Year’s Day a little too much to compete against.

Because they needed to play. There is no 'off week' this year (each school usually has a week in like February with no Tuesday game, but not this year). Obviously Friday would not have worked since it was NYE. The weekend prior was Christmas, so that is obviously a no-go. The Tue/Wed prior (12/21-21/22) was the last day for schools non-conference schedule.
