If CUSA wants to move the tourney & leave money on the table when their next media contract is going to be for $1.50 and a Butterfinger, let ‘em. I ain’t gonna lose sleep over it.
It’s a small price to pay for getting TFO of that mess.

Yeah but then we miss out on things like this:
You won’t ever have that atmosphere anywhere else in leftover CUSA.

Butterfingers are too good, no way they get them. More like homemade popcorn balls made 3 months ago.
Hopefully in the next two weeks it will have been announced that all 3 members are moving in 2022 and we won't have to put up with Judy and the Dallas incompetence much longer.
I don't know much about the leadership of the Southland/WAC where Sam Houston is coming from or the OVC/ASun where Jacksonville State is coming from but they better not have high expectations, not with the staff they are getting.

Of course I’d like to keep the tourney, but let them have one week if they want it. Living well is the best revenge.
Look I don’t think it’s a matter of feeling butt hurt or feeling left behind. If the Belt is where USM wants to be then fine. Happy u got what you wanted. But why should a school that doesn’t even want to stay for its two year obligation to its current conference reap financial benefits of hosting. Some conferences wouldn’t even let you compete. And don’t act like if you weren’t still in CUsA you wouldn’t feel the same way. The Belt did the same thing to LaTech years ago.

You know its different when its happening to you. JMU is doing the same thing now that they can't be in CAA tournaments even though they never fussed when other schools in the conf.was leaving. To me its just another way to gouge you guys. What any of us say or do won't make any difference. We just help pay the bills and support a conference mate.

Love that double roar. First roar when everyone saw he was tagged out, second / loudest roar after the Ump punches him out, making it official. Incredible play.

JMU did vote to ban all those previous schools from CaA tournament play

Laturd hurting, boo!!!:
‘Tech athletic director Eric Wood acknowledged there is disappointment in his school’s situation.
“The last few weeks and months have been brutal,” he said. “Not being in anyone’s expansion plans was hard on our fans and alums. So we focused on stabilizing our league, which we’ve done. But we’ll be monitoring the landscape, and if in the next couple of years something happens, we may well find ourselves with options, which is what any institution wants.”
Meanwhile, Southern Miss athletic director Jeremy McClain, whose school was a charter member of CUSA, said the Golden Eagles are in a much better situation with the Sun Belt than they were.’
See Tech wants out of CUSA. So why do their fans preach undying loyalty to CUSA? They don't want to be there anymore than USM so why punish USM for having their same thoughts? Hypocrites. That's why.

No present, past, and most likely future cusa baseball program will ever match that of USM. Others have some avid fans but far short of USM numbers in attendance and support.

You're right, pretty good support!

USM does have a great baseball program and you will be an asset to Belt baseball. So go host the Belt tournament t this year. You guys already act like you are out the door.
