Ever wonder why La Tech Fans are so disliked by Sun Belt Fans and why La Tech was not invited to join the Sun Belt along with Southern MIss?

Because they are a bunch whiny, maladjusted, and just plain mean and ugly group of idiots?

We can start a poll to get a clearer picture. Better yet, we should go to change.org and start a petition to keep the tourney in Hattiesburg.

Get it started and I imagine you will get a lot of signatures. Especially if its known little debbie and friends oppose it. Not that it will do any good but it would raise their blood pressure a little more. Ahhh love the separation!!!

Laturd hurting, boo!!!:

‘Tech athletic director Eric Wood acknowledged there is disappointment in his school’s situation.

“The last few weeks and months have been brutal,” he said. “Not being in anyone’s expansion plans was hard on our fans and alums. So we focused on stabilizing our league, which we’ve done. But we’ll be monitoring the landscape, and if in the next couple of years something happens, we may well find ourselves with options, which is what any institution wants.”

Meanwhile, Southern Miss athletic director Jeremy McClain, whose school was a charter member of CUSA, said the Golden Eagles are in a much better situation with the Sun Belt than they were.’

Full transparency, I feel guilty making fun of CUSA and even for taking shots at the Market Conference claiming G6 status. For many years I thought JMU was stuck in the CAA forever and it very deeply hurt.

I have changed my mind, F#ck CUSA and the AAC.

I would like for us to schedule Tech ooc. But I’m told they are cold to the idea. Heck, ooc Memphis, UAB, Tulane, and LaTech and we would a great regional ooc schedule. But Tulane is the only one willing to schedule.

Given Cusa geography one would think a regional game would be favored.

I would suggest that if the tourney is moved they play it in Ruston. USM can refuse to participate and if Tech gets eliminated then there wont be ten people in the stands.

More self inflicted victimhood from the folks down in Ruston.

I like this idea. We wont need the games to get in a Regional anyway. Can claim a Covid outbreak if needed.

I honestly don’t see the issue with this. As mentioned above, Coastal was set to start the 3rd of a 4 year agreement to host the Big South basketball tournament when they announced the move to the SBC. The remaining year or years were yanked. You can’t blame your brightest stars for moving on to greener pastures, but you also shouldn’t blame the ones who were left for not continuing to allow those who left to financially benefit.

Imagine creating a change.org petition because you're so upset over where the CUSA Baseball tournament is being held.

Imagine being so bored you created a counter petition to the petition for nothing other than laughs and spite.
