I wasn't gonna say anything because I'm over this season but since it's being discussed already I will. There were many obvious fouls Akron got away with. They were really physical too and were getting away with the same stuff UB was being called for at a rapid rate. Whatever though. Screw this season.

Akron out rebounded UB 35 - 26 and they outscored UB at the line 30-11. (Akron 30-40, UB 9-17). Ali alone out scored UB 16-9 at the line on his way to a 32 point game

Buffalo got hosed by the refs. as Akron took 40 foul shots to UB’s 17. Ali averages 4-foul shots per game. Ali took 22 foul shots in this game.

Buffalo needs to learn to defend without fouling. Obviously with MBalla out for Buffalo and Akron without Trimble, Akron game plan was to attack the basket. It's not a hose job when they're legitimate fouls. Probably 10 or so of those free throws were from Buffalo fouling Akron intentionally to extend the game. I bet you didn't even watch the game otherwise you'd know that...

I didn’t. But the numbers were so out of whack.

They committed 27 fouls against Akron. They committed 25 fouls against Miami last game. They need to learn to play more disciplined basketball. It's a big reason why they're currently sitting 0-2 in MAC play.

I looked at UB’s message board and they appear to be furious with the foul-calls against UB as they express that UB was not getting the same calls. Since tgey viewed the game, hope they chime in here. .

You went to the UB forum and expected to find an unbiased opinion of the game??? While at it you should turn on Fox News to see how they grade Biden's 1st year in office. Buffalo has committed a combined 52 fouls in the last 2 games. They have things they need to correct. Fortunately for them the season is young so they have time to make adjustments. I expect them to be playing at a high level come March.

Ball state made up a 5 point deficit in the last 30 seconds to win 81-80. Bumbalough fouled on a 3, makes the first 2, missed the 3rd, Muryne Thomas gets the rebound and put back. BG turnover. Thomas jumper with 8 seconds left for the final margin. (Curtis missed at the buzzer)
