A few years ago, the WAC had several 20 win teams (NMSU, UVU, Bako, GCU) and end up ranked around 15th as a conference. Best showing of WAC 2.0. Last I saw, the NET had the WAC ranked 15th. So we are trending in a positive direction.
I do not know where the WAC was in terms of NET ranking, but here is how the WAC did based on KenPom.com over the last ten years:
WAC 3.0
2022 - currently at #17
WAC 2.0
2021 - #23 (Covid shortened season)
2020 - #24 (NMSU & CBU had 20+ wins)
2019 - #17 (NMSU, UVU, GCU, UTRGV had 20+ wins)
2018 - #18 (NMSU, UVU, GCU, SU had 20+ wins)
2017 - #17 (CS Bako, NMSU, GCU had 20+ wins)
2016 - #24 (NMSU, Bako, GCU had 20+ wins)
2015 - #31 (NMSU had 20+ wins)
2014 - #22 (UVU & NMSU had 20+ wins)
WAC 1.5
2013 - #13 (Denver, Louisiana Tech, NMSU, Utah St all had 20+ wins)
WAC 1.0
2012 - #12 (Nevada & NMSU had 20+ wins)
