Looks like Chips to Sun is real possibility. Would be first MAC team in the Sun Bowl since Ohio in 1962. (Miami beat Texas Tech in 1948).

Yea that would be interesting to watch if on actual TV.

Let’s hope the MAC can negotiate this with the Sun Bowl and Barstool. There will have to be some type of deal to buy out the Barstool bowl, essentially. CMU will receive a larger payout going to the Sun Bowl.

Televised on CBS instead of a bro website. That would be a nice change in fortune.

If CMU gets scooted to the Sun Bowl, with a better payout and actually broadcast on real television, that’d certainly be a better gig.

Has a MAC team ever been on network TV (other than ESPN family, including ABC) for a bowl game? Thinking of CBS, NBC, Fox, etc.

Ball State bowl last year was on CBS I think.

Amazingly according to the Sagarin ratings Wash. State should be say only a 7 point favorite suggesting possibly a really good game. The type of game where whomever really wants it, wins it.
