Loved seeing the fight in this team with all the controversy of DG leaving, and all the injuries. Never seen that many injuries on a team and keep a winning record. Proud of all of them and a good way to close the season, as well as beating UF, who dodges in-state teams as much as they can. Finally beat them. 03-nutkick

This win should help big time with recruiting. We could have sellouts like this every time we play the Gators and the Seminoles. 04-cheers

RE: Gasparilla Bowl
Congratulations on this outstanding win! It's not a NYD6 bowl but the significance is profound. Move over Florida, FSU, and Miami of Florida....a new posse just rode into town.

Thanks also for giving the B12 a huge boost. UCF sent a message to the nation that the B12 remains a tough conference. UCF also sent a message to its new B12 colleagues, the same message as before. A new posse just rode into town.

Nebraska is 3-9. I imagine Scott Frost has his regrets. Scott is the first Nebraska coach to have four consecutive losing seasons sine 1961, sixty years ago.

UCF Coach Malzahn was an Arkansas HIgh School COach and then became the Offensive Coordinator at Arkansas for one year but left to go to Tulsa where he was the Offensive Coordinator for 3 years. Arkansas Coach Houston Nutt would not let Malzahn implement his passing scheme. Nutt had come under fire and had hired Malzahn to keep the fans and alumni happy but handcuffed Malzahn none the less.

Everything is looking really good for UCF. Enjoy B12 but stay with us too on the AAC board. We got UAB beating B12 and BYU....sort of what UCF did to SEC and Florida.

I think we will see the emergence of the Big 4 within the next 10 years or so. UCF is finally starting to be accepted.

It might take that long, but the day even these stuck up UF and FSU fans start saying Big 4 unironically is going to be something.

RE: Gasparilla Bowl
For those that might have missed it during the Gasparilla Bowl, MVP Ryan O'Keefe flashed a Deuce Sign on his long TD catch in honor of a former UCF star, #2 Otis Anderson, who just graduated last year but was tragically shot and killed by his Father on Dec 1st.

What made it more iconic...is that on Otis's infamous "deuce" sign himself came on a 54 yd TD catch vs Memphis in the AAC Championship Game.....while Ryan O'Keefe's TD catch in the Gasparilla Bowl was 54 yds as well.

It was an amazing tribute that during the heat of the battle (it was just a 2 pt game at that moment in the 3rd Q vs UF), that Bowl Game MVP Ryan O'Keefe was thinking about his lost teammate.

Raymond James Stadium was JUMPING and SOLD OUT!

One of my best memory was seeing UF Fans pour out of the stadium with 8 mins to go as UCF was just running the ball down their throat (SEC "style"...and those Walmart T-Shirt Gator Fans couldn't handle seeing UCF Fans celebrate their victory in front of them.

Raymond James Stadium....home to the Tampa Bay Bucs...but the stadium also rents out their lower bowl to south florida for their home games (that school of 50,000 plus students that located in a metro area of 3.5 Million people) but still can't draw 20,000 actual fans to their home games...is now UCF's home away from home.

RE: Gasparilla Bowl
With the way this bowl season is turning out.....outside of the playoffs, this game had more fan energy and TV rating than probably any other game......including the NY6 games that may or may not be played.

RE: Gasparilla Bowl
On rivalry weekend, the FSU vs UF Football game on ESPN drew a nationwide audience of 1.69 Million viewers.

The pre-Christmas UCF vs UF Bowl Game that went head to head with a NFL Game drew almost DOUBLE the FSU/UF number:
