Mac bowl game results
MAC teams so far in bowl games!
Middle Tennessee St 31 Toledo 24
Coastal Carolina 47 N Illinois 41( controversial ending)
Liberty 56 E Michigan 20, (Liberty could've scored 70)
Wyoming 52 Kent St 38
Miami Ohio 27 North Texas 14 3rd quarter, possibly first MAC win!
Not A great conference start, but more games left to play!

Hey let's be brutally honest, the MAC is the economy choice in FBS football.

Nevertheless, MAC teams have to be built to play on synthetic turf and in the worst NCAA weather for half of their conference schedule on MACTION nights. Today Miami is squaring off against a team playing in their home state, on natural grass and in a temp over 70 degrees.

If you watched the ESPN special on Al Davis and Pete Rozelle, Davis claimed that when his speed-built Raiders had to play in Pittsburgh on a frozen field, they had no chance. He was right, but to get to the playoff game, the Steelers had to win under such conditions and their team was constructed to do so. If all NFL playoff games were played at NCAA bowl sites, I doubt that the Patriots, Steelers, Giants and Bears get to as many Super Bowls.
