That sucks for WF. They had a really good season and deserved a good opponent like Tex A&M in their bowl to show how good they really are.

Maybe someone else will drop out soon and WF can take their opponent. That's about all they can hope for.

I've heard Illinois and Marshall are targets. But I have no idea how accurate either of those reports are.

Last I heard Rutgers was needing an exemption from the NCAA, but if granted, it was a done deal. (Because of their semester just ending today, Rutgers players had been in off-season weight training, etc. - so they were still in game shape).

CBS Sports is reporting that it's official:
Rutgers to fill Texas A&M's spot in Gator Bowl after COVID-19 issues force Aggies to withdraw, per report
