RE: NFL Draft
Vs getting drafted and a couple million. Take the NBA example, Jason Preston leaves early and goes at beginning of round 2 for a total contract of 1.8 mil, with online half of that guaranteed. If he came back and improved his draft range just slightly to late 1st round he would make 4 mil guaranteed and have 2 more years for about 8 mil that team could opt in for.

RE: NFL Draft
Also, if appears Bailey Flint will be appearing in something called the Cajun All-Star Bowl, in Beaumont, TX. Never heard of it.

There is the USFL supposedly starting up this year in April. Doesn't seem like a lot of time to find players, so I don't know how they plan to do that. And next year, the XFL is back supposedly, in some kind of deal with the CFL. So there may be some extra chances for some players to get some pro experiences.

XFL is planning return in Spring 2023 but deal with CFL collapsed.

RE: NFL Draft
Senior Bowl is a 2:30 today on the NFL network. Anderson has been getting a good amount of positive coverage on twitter this week so far.

RE: NFL Draft
Well, he's not a UT Rocket in this draft but Jaquan Brisker from Penn State is a Grandson of one of my favorite All Time UT Hoopsters, Rocket and ABA basketball legend John Brisker.

"Full name is Jaquan Monte Brisker...Son of Mijohni Brisker and Jawann Davis...Has four brothers, Shawn Brisker, Tale’ Brisker, Jawann Davis and Javon Brisker, and three sisters, Tionna Brisker, Taije’ Davis and Adia Brisker...Grandfather, John Brisker, played college basketball at Toledo...Earned his degree in communication arts and sciences."

Believe Brisker was a football WR as well.

On November 4, 1971, the Condors visited Salt Lake City, and Stars' management arranged "John Brisker Intimidation Night." Ensign Ritchie explained it this way in that night's game program, which featured pro boxer Ron Lyle on the cover (above left): "Not that anyone on the Utah Stars team fears John Brisker. But just in case the husky, sometimes ill-tempered, Pittsburgh Condor forward gets out of line tonight the Stars' management has taken steps to keep all in control. Surrounding the court tonight will be five of the top boxers the Intermountain Area has ever produced. For tonight is 'John Brisker Intimidation Night' and it is the intention of the Stars to turn the tables on the high scoring Condor. Tonight it is Brisker who is on foreign soil and with the likes of Ron Lyle, Bill Daniels' professional boxer from Denver, Don and Gene Fullmer, Rex Layne and Tony Doyle standing in the wing, best he doesn't get far out of line."

Brisker was wise enough not to provoke all of these boxers at once, but it was an interesting spectacle with the boxers lining the court, and Brisker behaving himself for once.

Article with scouting summaries of several Rockets. This fellow seems quite high on Koback; like Anderson too.

Anderson ran a 4.41 40 at the combine. Tied for 5th best among the safeties.

They revised his time down to an official 4.36. Wow. That's even top 4 amongst the corners. That's gonna help his stock.

Not to forget he jumped nearly 24 feet in HS, just a tad less than Mitchel. The raw numbers have always been there.
