WOW. Baumann misses a WIDE OPEN look, only his 2nd miss from deep tonight. Following an absurd step-back three by Sloan, following Sloan’s half court interception and layup. Freethrows nearly cost ETSU this game, but David Sloan put it on his own shoulders.

With the pressure on the kid realized, I am not actually that good and choked it.

Quite the comeback. With the score looking ugly and the foul trouble it seemed like a guaranteed L. Loved seeing the fire from Des during the late timeout. The team responded to it. Need to see more of that. Tom Crean might be looking for work after this year.

With the Bucs down by 6, losing focus and making mistakes, Coach Oliver got ANGRY!!! This is a winnable situation! Act like it, he seemed to be saying. Whatever it was, he got their attention and turned it around. Tremendous finish!!!

But if we have 15 or more TOs and are cold from 3, we will lose, maybe big.
We shoot poorly, and again are disorganized for periods, and lose by 12-14. Would love to be wrong.
LOVE being wrong on this!!
Other than horrid FT shooting, things went opposite of my prediction. I thought about calling this a Goldfinger anti-jinx, but can't honestly say I did that.

Yasser looks like a young Mike Smith.
To piggyback on Captain Obvious..............best 40 minutes all year, OTHER THAN FREE THROWS, which may be the worst in ETSU history. (And maybe other than a 5-7 minute or so section later in the second half.)

Nice Christmas present! Thanks you Bucs. Hope this is the start of a good turn around. I know GA is bad but the win will get good pr for the team.

He *really* jumped on King there, and then finished up on one of the Brewer brothers (I think). Not sure whether he was fussing at King for the turnover, or for letting that ball go OB instead of trying to get it.

With 4 minutes left it was 74-82, closed it with a 12-2 run

Yes they are bad. So is Vanderbilt in football, but it's wins like those regardless that are big for us in many ways. I only got to see the 2nd half. Glad to see Oliver finally getting pissed.

Bucs have put together a decent collection of SEC scalps lately. Georgia, LSU, Mississippi State. Even Bartow got Arkansas once.

Bucs needed to learn how to turn around a game that was going south. And they did, thanks in large part to Coach Oliver. Great turn around ending , guys.
There are lessons here that we will need to remember in a tough, very competitive SoCon.
And yes, thanks for a great Christmas present for all us fans!!

I have never heard of a player being injured during warm ups. Dang I hope Charlies comes back soon. The Christmas break will help of course.

An amazingly entertaining game! I had 3 or 4 heart attacks but survived. The team played very hard and passionately.
