Who knows. As of now game is on but if you would like to attend you need to show your vax card if you are over 5.

Certainly would not surprise me if the Penn game tomorrow is cancelled. This thing is flying through the population.

Reports are that Duke is cancelling its next two games due to Covid, so I guess the Duke reschedule becomes a moot point.

It was already a moot point because it would’ve been played over a week ago, before this outbreak in their program.

Shane tweeted earlier that JMU doesn't test vaccinated asymptomatic players which you would assume would mean it's easier to avoid positive tests. Hopefully JMU can be ready to play again by Friday.

If JMU has not been testing asymptomatic players, then folks who tested positive are folks who have symptoms. Symptoms buy you 10 days of isolation. Even if you are asymptomatic, a positive test also buys you 10 days of isolation.

Depends on whose guidelines you’re following, the NFL has adjusted their goal line midseason. Philadelphia Eagles head coach Sirianni coached Tuesday, woke up sick and tested positive Wednesday, was back at their facility on Saturday and was able to coach on Sunday again after passing their updated protocols.

The CDC just changed their guidelines. They recommend for those who are asymptomatic that they can reduce their isolation to five days and then five days of wearing a mask. Vaccination status doesn't mean anything for a person who tests positive. I still don't think they could play Friday if they have to be isolated for five days and then wear a mask for five days - just cannot see anyone playing a game wearing a mask.

Many high schools did it last season.

Maybe we can make bubble helmets the players can put over their heads and tighten around their necks

Basketball players wearing masks is a straight up check the box feel better solution

Getting vaccinated doesn't mean you can't get Covid. It means you won't get as sick from it and more importantly save your life.
The problem is that many are not vaccinated and can get seriously ill and die. Most of the precautions out there are to minimize the spread of it, which means less people get it to spread to others.

The thing many don't realize is that Covid will probably never go away. It will be around just like the flu. The more of us that are vaccinated against it means that there won't need to be as many safeguards out there to protect others.

I feel like everybody suddenly has COVID this week

Doesn’t make sense if we are to believe what the “experts” told us for so long. Vaccines were supposed to keep you immune, and having it once was supposed to be it, but now it’s just to ease the symptoms when you do get it and possibly get it again?!
