It wasn't team performance. We lost several games with good leads in the 4th quarter due to bonehead playcalling and time management. Coaching things. If you can lead well into the fourth quarter then it is a winnable game if you keep your sh!t together. We did not.

No, we are going to be fine. I think with some qb's coming in to challenge Wells will help out in the long run. Our receiving corps needs work, and Wells just simply needs to get better. He kills more drives than not with dumb decisions.

I think everyone’s just a little nervous as we let go a coach that won 8-9 games a year but always seemed to lose a game or two we didn’t have any business losing and let big games slip away. Which is exactly what happened this season. An unexplainable loss to Middle Tenn and then letting 4th quarter leads slip away against ECU, Appalachian State and Louisiana.

We have a good defense but lack playmakers on offense with the obvious exception of Ali. If just one or two others step up this season and make a few plays it could have been a special year. That’s why it’s so frustrating and you’re hearing moaning and groaning from the fanbase already.

That is a pretty fair answer if you ask me. Marshall definitely has the players to belong.
