Ehh---getting back to 10 to 12 football members was pretty clearly part of the plan from the start. But yeah---the decision to jump all the way to 14 will certainly be questioned if the rebuild doesnt pan out as well as hoped.

Hopefully that's the case. I'm honestly most excited to be joining this conference in basketball. Hopefully Andy Kennedy has us where we need to be by then.

...I'm thinking another year (not that I'm writing THIS season off at all just yet, as our 3 losses to date have been close ones to quality teams (even South Carolina has an RPI under 100)) for coach AK and he will have 'solidified' his style of team/philosophy to where we want to be... I'd say we have a way better than average shot of winning CUSA THIS season, and hopefully make a bit of noise in the Dance.

Anyway, I am jazzed about UAB bball in the AAC as well - looking forward to it! 04-rock

RE: Impressed with UAB
As a UAB fan I’m elated to be joining the AAC. Our new stadium is shocking nice.
I was at the Independence Bowl and found out their tie in with BYU ends when they join the Big 12. Hopefully the AAC could get that tie in. The weather for that game was awful

I thought Memphis was an even BIGGER mistake, but I was wrong.

At least ECU finally had a winning season so I think they may actually turn out ok.
